Our team of sourcing professionals led the complete FF&E Procurement and Installation for Esther Restaurant as part of the QT Hotel project. With design-led by Nic Graham (Interior Designer) and Sean Connolly (Head Chef), the inspiration was drawn from Sean’s extensive travels throughout the Mediterranean. Bringing to life QT Auckland’s signature restaurant concept Esther. The restaurant environment combines an open-style kitchen which sets the scene for a homely welcome to Esther’s European charms. The dining room and bar at Esther extend from the Hotel foyer and public space and open to the viaduct harbour view.
Our team specialise in full FF&E Procurement and HOE Procurement for Restaurant and Hospitality projects. Interesting procurement requirements included sourcing specialist equipment like the Berkel flywheel slicer. A new product that is inspired by the original Berkel meat slicer from the 1920s, we sourced a custom colour to showcase in the open Kitchen. We sourced plates, cutlery and glassware. The cutlery was hand-rolled and produced in Thailand. The furniture included seating from TON chairs (811 chairs, armchairs and barstools) alongside custom tables in Peppercorn Sicilian Ash by Lamitak. We represent a curated selection of European furniture designers in-house. We also work with all major commercial furniture designers or will have furniture manufactured to fit the brief.
